At Gaby Holden State Farm, we're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated individual to join our growing team!
As a Receptionist – State Farm Agent Team Member, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers. You'll be one of the first points of contact for our office, helping customers with questions, coordinating requests, and making sure they receive the attention and service they deserve.
This position goes beyond traditional receptionist duties. You'll have the opportunity to learn about insurance products, assist with customer accounts, and grow into additional responsibilities as you develop your skills and obtain your insurance licenses.
We're looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys working with people, and is interested in building a long-term career. Previous insurance experience is not required. We're happy to consider candidates with strong customer service, administrative, or receptionist backgrounds who are eager to learn!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers and create a welcoming, professional office environment.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, and direct requests appropriately.
- Assist customers with general policy questions, billing inquiries, account updates, and service requests within licensing requirements.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate customer follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions.
- Help ensure daily office operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Build positive relationships with customers through friendly, attentive service.
- Learn about insurance products and services to better assist customers.
- Upon obtaining the required insurance licenses, assist customers with coverage discussions, product recommendations, and additional account management responsibilities.
- Collaborate with team members to support customer retention, agency goals, and an exceptional customer experience.

- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to obtain a Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain a Texas Life & Health Insurance License.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work full-time in an office setting.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology.

Compensation: $38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
